Recipe 1
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups cold water
2 cups boiling water
3 tbsp. sugar
Instructions
Mix together flour and cold water in a bowl.
Add this mixture to the boiling water and allow it to return to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
As the mixture cools it will thicken as it does.
You can also just make a quickly paste by putting flour in a bowl and adding water until you have kind of a soupy paste.
A substitute for paper mache paste is liquid starch

Shredded newspaper
Cooking pot
Water
Stove
Baby oil or Bath oil
Beater
Bowl
½ cup wallpaper paste
Instructions
Shred one newspaper, tearing in strips from top to
bottom
Place in pot and cover with water
Boil for 2 to 3 hours
Pour off water and add 1 tsp baby oil or bath oil
Beat with beater until soft
Add ½ cup wallpaper paste and mix well
Notes: If
painting, it is necessary to put on an undercoating of Gesso
